I bought the game star wars republic commando ofr my computer and loved it, but when i upgraded from xp to vista and then windows 7 (vista and 7 were 64-bit) the game installed without fail and then kept popping up with the message, unexpected error whch windows couldn't fix. It's a forum dedicated to windows 7 users, and you can ask any question you like over there, or browse answered questions. It's really good.|||Republic Commando is an older PC game that was released in 2005. It was designed to be run on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. It was able to run on Vista but simply cannot run on 7 because it is just too old.
You would think that old games would work on new operating systems but it is in fact the opposite. This is common for most PC games.
