What would happen when a big star exploded close to a small star.?

Lets just say there is a double star system with one big star (and i mean really big like a super giant) and the other star is about the size of the sun.As super giants are at the end of their lives and will explode soon,what will happen to the small star.(ignoring the resulting blackhole) Will it survive the supernova. |||Whenever a giant star dies it goes under a supernova explosion.According to me when such a star will die it will easily gallop all the small stars surrounding it. This is beacause when a giant star goes under supernova explosion its gravity increases|||I wouldn't want to be on that small Star! :0|||it can form blackhole

|||The O type star would destroy a G type.|||Small may burnt or throw away|||Magic 8 ball says no|||Actually, this scenario CAN'T HAPPEN.

You can't have a small star and a super giant in a double star system since the small star will get sucked into the giant star due to gravitational forces.

But to answer your not-so-exact question: NO, it won't survive the supernova
