How many star systems worth of raw materials would it take to build a Dyson Sphere around our sun?

Either that or even a Ringworld as in the novel by Larry Niven?

Would it take ten star system of raw material, or a hundred, or what? I couldn't even fathom what the engineer challenges would be.

What is your thoughts on this?|||The thickness of the floor is the prime unknown. And to determine it, you would need to investigate the properties of a material that is unknown to today's science, and it not even remotely possible by today's science.

decide on a thickness and the calculation is easy if you assume any material can be transmuted to any other, as Niven assumed.
