I work at a supermarket and today I found a series 1957 silver certificate in the register with a star next to the serial number. It is in pretty good condition, and I know some about US paper currency, but what I would really like to know is how much it's worth considering its crispy, unworn condition.|||here is the question, where has it been.U.S curency is pulled from curculation about every ten years and burned. This may be stolen from someones collection,These bills are still only worth face value.|||I'm afraid about the best you can hope for is face value, but with what was stated that's how it sounds.
unfortunately, silver certificates are not exchangeable for silver anymore. It use to be you could take them and trade them in for silver ingots, bars, etc.|||http://www.usarare.com/index9.htm look at the bottom it shows some prices or values. You may be holding a lot of money in your hands!
