Star???????????????????

whats the star that you choose to star the question etc.. what does it do|||The "stars" simply indicate that someone found the question important or interesting. Enough stars can push a question to the front page, to the POPULAR tab there. A LOT of stars may help the question get chosen as "Featured Question" or even be put on "Best of Answers", after review by the staff. Here is the blog that explains it in detail:

For example, this question is not interesting enough for either.|||I don't find this question interesting but I marked it anyway for demonstration purposes.|||When you star a question, it means you think the question is interesting. You don't get points for stars. This question goes into your 'My Starred Questions' tab in your profile.


If you star a question, it will come up on your fans home page.





Also, starred questions get listed in the 'Popular' tab under each category.


If a question receives lots of stars, it can also be made as a 'Featured Question'.|||In your profile, there is a list of all of your Starred Questions. It is just for keeping certain questions in your records, but it also informs your contacts of those questions that you star.|||Stars are given out when an answerer finds your question original or intriguing, %26amp; usually you get big results on that when you post a good question in Polls %26amp; Surveys.
