What is the difference between 4 star and 5 star resorts?

Im a 21 yr old male travelling to varadero Cuba in june. is there a significant difference between a four star resort and a five start resort? Im trying to save cash so would i be missing out if i go with a 4 star resort?|||This is straight from the Orbitz website:
